Active Ants brings strategic investor bpost on board
Active Ants and bpost have come together for a strategic partnership between both organisations. bpost will acquire a majority of the shares in Active Ants BV. The current directors and shareholders Jeroen Dekker and Jean Lahaye will stay with the company and have defined a clear mission: realising qualitative growth in the world of cross-border e-commerce logistics.
In recent years, Active Ants experienced rapid growth and often made innovative investments. Continuing this strategy required more and more capital. Nevertheless, Active Ants was hesitant to work with the first money lender to come along. Instead, the company searched for and consciously chose a strategic investor.
